Folk Americana with a hint of Country
Heavy Harmonies, Soulful Songwriter From Auburn, a town south of Seattle, David was raised on Green River water and homemade moonshine. He was forced to play the accordion at a very small age and humiliation made him realize he needed a guitar.
Dave's sweet soulful vocals and original songs have graced the Pacific Northwest area in a band called Fat Dog Heavy. Fat Dog Heavy performed at several major venues and events, such as The Central in Seattle, The Strawberry Festival in Bellevue, High Dive in Seattle and the Skylark Club. David has shared the bill with many great bands, including: Hey Ocean, Lucky Suns, Specials Meds and several other great bands from all over including Canada. David's sound is very harmony-driven, soulful and fun. His music should fill your heart with harmony and dance. Similar sounding to The Avett Brothers, Wilco, Guster, Old Crow Medicine Show, The Everly Brothers, and Paul Simon. On the rare occasion he's not playing music, he enjoys sports of all kinds mostly baseball. He also has an English Bulldog he loves to trott around. Connect with David, he'd love to hear from you. |
